FY2026 P-1 / R-1 official budget exhibits- Important limitation
- Bellum v0.4 includes only budget rows manually verified against the official FY 2026 P-1 and R-1 exhibits. Source values are stored in the published unit of dollars in thousands and converted to dollars only for display/metrics where explicitly stated.
How to use the source register
Different questions require different records. Award-action analysis depends on contract reporting; budget evidence depends on budget exhibits; confirmed program-to-award relationships need explicit documentation. A source name alone does not make a derived figure an official government number.
- Contract award records: check transaction identifiers, agency roles, action date and the financial field.
- DoD budget exhibits: preserve fiscal year, exhibit name, original units and whether the figure is a request, enacted amount or other stage.
- Company and market profiles: distinguish source-reported attributes from Bellum-generated classifications and name matching.
- Corrections: trace an amended or disputed value to the supporting identifier and document the coverage date.
