Corrections & Evidence Review

Bellum separates source records from Bellum-derived calculations so corrections can be traced. Contact the site administrator with the Bellum page, source record identifier and supporting evidence when you find an error.

Submit a verifiable correction

To report an issue, use the Bellum Report contact page and include enough information to reproduce the result. Do not share confidential, classified or personal financial records.

  • The exact Bellum URL where the issue appears.
  • The award, agency, program or original source identifier, if available.
  • The field and value you believe is incorrect, with the corrected value.
  • A dated, public supporting source or explanation of the mismatch.
  • Whether the issue is a factual error, outdated record, duplication, classification problem or access problem.

What happens to contested information?

Submitted information should be assessed against available primary-source evidence. A correction request is not automatically an instruction to replace an official source field with a user estimate. The date and scope of a correction should remain explicit when the source can be verified.
